Ha ha, I refer to the clip posted on the 15th Jan. I had no idea they were actually a band. Oops, my bad. I thought they were just buskers. Guess it takes one to know one. I used to do that in Paris in '95 but I digress I think it's amazing that they are not above doing a version on the underground!! True class!

I wanted to show you how the process works. This is a clip of me doing a vocal session on a song called 'Milk and Honies' which will be released by Curb Records this year. This example shows you my voice by itself blended in and out with the full band version of the song. As you can hear it sounds slightly different to the version I posted a while back. This is because you are hearing Brent playing drums over the original drums I programmed on the demo. You can also hear a few keyboard pieces that Sandy added a few days ago. Remember this is NOT a final version. We will have to wait n see which vocal comp gets used as this is merely an example of one take!! Hope that gives you some cool insight to our recording process.

We were surfing today so I decided to do a little tribute to a guy I have had the pleasure of hanging out with on occasion. Aside from being the first South African ever to win the Dakar rally (hello!!), he is also a pretty decent kitesurfer and can put away a bottle or 2 of the good stuff...without too much prompting. The last time I was in a vehicle with him we were doing doughnuts all the way home from bar in Langebaan, Cape Town, South Africa. Good time!
As you may tell...we are very proud boytchie!! Peace!
This is just so cool. Bear with it till groove comes in! Man there is so much talent out there. How awesome is the gift of music? I mean, people aren't getting off at their stops cos the vibe is too good!!. It's killer!! I love how awkward the people in front of them are at first. (shame about the harmonica hahaha!!)

Eerie shadows look out toward the Pacific. Artificial dunes prepared for winter swells make a great sunset stage.
My thoughts go out to the innocent people in Gaza. Shame on those using woman and children as shields. They have no idea the consequence that awaits their cowardly actions. I am more sorry for them than angry.
